Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 years of age OR 13 years of age and have completed the eighth grade and under 21 years of age. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
What did you do this weekend?
Our Kru President, Rachel, received the 1st honors on March 16th, 2014, at the Istrouma Area Council awards banquet.
She was first recognized for earning the highest award in Venturing, the Silver Award. She was presented with her council scarf.
She also received the special youth Venturing Leadership Award.
She is very active in her crew, The VOA(Venturing Officers Assiciation) and is still very active working with Girl Scouts at Camp.
